Congress leaders visit Eidgah in Old city

To have a first-hand account of public grievances, Congress leaders Sunday visited Eidgah assembly segment, assuring the residents that they would take up the grievances with the concerned official to demand their early redressal.

Congress leader, Imtiyaz Khan from Eidgah, accompanied by former minister Khem Lata Wakhloo visited several areas including Guzarbal, Pallapora and other localities.

Khan informed that the meeting was held to get a first-hand account of the problems that the people in the area are facing.

“The people of these areas apprized us about the developmental problems and lack of basic amenities including scarcity of electricity, drinking water and bad condition of roads,” Khan said.

Both the leaders assured the residents that their grievances will be addressed as soon as possible.
