Clashes erupt in Pattan
The students of Government Higher Secondary School Pattan and Government Degree College Pattan on Tuesday morning clashed with government forces outside college premises of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Eyewitnesses told that forces resorted to tear smoke shelling on the students of government Degree College Pattan and Government Higher Secondary school after they pelted stones on forces deployed already outside the college.
Reports said that forces also lobbed scores of tear gas shells inside the premises of the college triggering chaos.
Consequently, the clashes forced shutdown in the area and the shopkeepers had to down their shutters and traffic movement also got affected.
