Under 19-Tennis Cricket Championship Concludes
Almurad Juniors Kreeri (AJK) defeated Mir Sports Kreeri (MSK) by 6 runs to lift the under 19-tennis Cricket championship’s title on Sunday.
Captain of AJK won the toss and decided to bat first. However, the team lost wickets at regular intervals and the team bundled out at 100 runs.
In reply, MSK could not complete the chase as their batsmen failed to take on the bowling. The team finished at finished at 94 for 4 wickets in their allotted overs. MSK finished at 94 for 4.
Earlier Marifat Ahmad Bhat of AJK played an enjoyable innings of 25 runs. He also took 3 wickets. He was declared man of the match and Musaib was declared man of the series for his alround performance.
Meanwhile, Immam of Jamia Masjid Kreeri Syed Shrieef-uL-Haq Bukhari was chief guest and President of Traders Federation Kreeri Syed Hafizullah Bukhari was also present during the match. At the end of match, they distributed prizes among the players of winning team as well as the runner up team.
The championship was organised by a local sports person Mohammad Akbar Sofi in collaboration with Al-murad sports club Kreeri , in which 36 teams of the area participated.
