Scintillating cultural programme organized

A cultural programme was organized in memory of Late Dr. J.R. Sharma the founder of Saraswati Sangeet Kala Mandir at Abhinav Theater Jammu.

Anjali Sharma Director Radio Kashmir Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion while Dr Arvinder Singh Aman, Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art culture and Languages was the guest of Honour.

 The programme started with the scintillating performance by Saptak Band which was followed a spiritual song “Sun le tu meri ardaas” sung by Sahiba Gupta and Sahisa Gupta. A performance based on Raag Khamaaj  presented  by Bhumika arya, Sanvi anand, Umika Sharma, Nadiya slathia, Arushi tulli, Pranvi khajuria, Khushi yadav, Sanchita dubey and a Vidai Geet performed  by Shashi Sharma whose Lyrics and Music  composed by Ravi Sharma kept the audience spell bound .

 Song “muskuraane ki wajah tum” by Music curve Band and  a Dogri folk dance “sun tolla bankaya” performed by  artists Bindiya, Sneha, Payal, Diksha, Khushbu, Ruchika, Raziya, Geetanjali  choreographed  by Rakesh Kona and Music composed by Ravi Sharma was also highly appreciated by one and all .

A hindi song “tere bin suni laage” was sung by shivani mishra which was composed Ravi Sharma and hindi group song “yeh rasta hai na samaj” was performed by Anjali, sunandani, Disha, Aleen, Heena, Poonam, kamaldeep singh, Navjot singh, Kamran aejaz, Keshav Gupta.

The other artists who performed during the programme include Kamal Sharma, Vijay Anand, Amit Anand, Vikash Nagar, Rajat, Shashi Sharma, Anil Tikku, Rohit Sharma, Vishaal Singh, Dheeraj Mattu, Robin Kumaar, Parvinder Singh, Richard Teji, Abhishek, Amarjeet Singh, Deepak Mahalotra.  All the items were highly appreciated by the audience and the guest.
