LoC shelling: CM grieved over civilian deaths
Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has expressed grief over the death of two civilians and injuries to few others at Jhanger in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district today due to cross LoC shelling.
“War like situation creates troubles for people of the state. Even people get killed on the other side of the fence as well owing to the cross border shelling,” she said.
Mehbooba Mufti has directed the Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri to immediately send rescue teams to the spot and ensure proper treatment of the injured and relocation of the affected people to safer places.
