Students learn about road safety rules

Traffic Police today organized an awareness programme on road safety rules and importance of obeying MVA Rules/Traffic Rules here at Govt. Boys High School Bari Brahamana.

Superintendent of Police Traffic Rural Jammu, Shaheen Wahid,   Dy. SP Traffic Samba-Kathua Madhu Bandral and Inspector Basanti Bhat DTI Bari Brahmana interacted with the students and delivered lectures on road safety.

Besides students, the Principal of School   Chanchala  Devi and  faculty members of the school also participated in the awareness programme.The students were appraised about motor vehicle act/rules and  the denotation of traffic signs  and also hazards of violation of traffic rules particularly while driving two wheeler without Helmet, Triple Riding, driving without seat belt, overspeeding and other offences.

During the interaction, the students and teachers were made aware about following road discipline while driving or while walking on the roads.  The students took keen interest and raised certain queries which were responded by the officers present.
