JKEDI to hold Skill Development training for local youth

The J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute Samba is organizing 18 day entrepreneurship development program (EDP) for the local youth.

 The training course is being held under Himayat Self Employment Component -a part of the Skills Empowerment and Employability (SEE) scheme of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and Ministry of Rural Development, Govt of India.

The EDP is aimed to promote enterprise-led livelihoods by imparting training, sector exposure, financial linkages, market linkages, handholding and mentoring support to aspiring micro-entrepreneurs.

The interviews for the EDP shall be held on 8th May, 2017 and Program shall start from 10th May, at JKEDI-Samba, DC Office Block-II, floor second, Samba. The enrollment for the new trainees shall continue up to 12 May, after which no new trainee will be allowed.
