Army apprehends a minor from Pakistan along the LoC in Rojouri

Indian Army on Saturday arrested a 12-year-old boy from Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PaK) when he crossed over into the Indian Territory along Nowshera sector of the Line of Control in Rajouri district, an Army official said.

“A patrol of the Indian Army along the Line of Control (LoC) apprehended a 12-year-old from Pakistan administered Kashmir who had crossed over to this side of LoC late last evening in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district,” reports said.

The boy named Ashfaq Ali Chauhan, is the son of a retired Baloch Regiment soldier of Dunger Pel village in PaK, reports quoting officials said.

The boy was seen moving suspiciously near the LoC, and  has  been  handed over to police for investigation, army official said.
