J&K High Court Bar Association has strongly condemned the manhandling of four female members of a family at Bomai Sopore.

According to the statement by the association, forces personnel from Pazalpora based 22 RR Camp reportedly  entered the house of the victims on the pretext of conducting some survey.

“The forces not only misbehaved with them but also slapped one of the inmates. The forces then dragged her out of the house by hair along with other female members and thereafter beat them mercilessly,” the statement said.

The Bar Association demanded that the police station Bomai which has already FIR No. 37/2017 in the matter, should immediately arrest all those army personnel, involved in the crime and file a report against them in the Court of law so that they do not repeat their unlawful act of trespassing into the houses of innocent people and beat them in a “barbaric” manner.
