CD imparts training to 400 NCC Cadets

Civil Defence Srinagar today imparted Disaster Preparedness training to over 400 NCC Cadets at Rangret Srinagar, a statement issued here said.

Hands-on training was imparted by CD trainers Javed and Ghulam Nabi. During the session Director Disaster Management J&K, Aamir Ali interacted with the cadets and gave them instructions on safety measures.

The programme was attended by Commandant NCC, DK Sinha, Adjutant Choudhary and ASI (M) Shabir Ahmed from Civil Defence. The training included basic life-saving skills, First Aid, Fire Fighting, Search and Rescue. The cadets attended the training with keen interest, enthusiasm and actively participated in the practical sessions.
