Volley ball tournament concludes
An inter group volleyball tournament held at Islamia College students here concluded today.
The tournament was organised by the department of Physical Education of the college.
In the final match of the tournament, ICS Greens defeated ICS Oranges by 2:1 sets to lift the trophy in a thrilling final volleyball encounter.
The final score was 25:23, 17:25 and 25:23. Faisal, Aqib, Waqas and Mehraj Mushtaq played very well in the finals.
15 best players were selected from the teams who had taken the part in this group tournament for the college volleyball team, which will be finalised after they are further trained in a volleyball coaching camp in the college soon.
Meanwhile, an inter group Football tournament for the Islamia College students will start from tomorrow at college play field.
Prof. G M Tibetbkal principal was the chief guest on the occasion; he has distributed prizes among winner’s team and the runners up team.
