Kupwara carnage an aggression against innocent, says JKLF

Condemning the killing of civilians at a condolence meeting, Vice Chairman of JKLF, Sheikh Muhammad Afzal, on Monday, said that Kupwara carnage was an example of aggression against innocent people.

The condolence meeting was held at the residence of Muhammad Yousuf Bhat, who was killed recently. Others JKLF leaders present at the meeting included senior leader Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, Abdul Aziz Lone, Farooq Ahmad Lone, Muhammad Amin Sofi and Ghulam Rasool Mir. The meeting was addressed by Sheikh Muhammad Afzal and Zahoor Ahmad Bhat.

While condemning the spree of arrests throughout the Kashmir valley, the leaders said that whole of Kashmir was witnessing the wrath of forces and police and thousands have been put behind bars.

They condemned the prolonged incarceration of a youth Akhtar Malik, who belongs to Bogam Kulgam.
