CM, FM grieved over officials’ death

Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has condoled the demise of senior KAS officer and Special Secretary, Finance, Muhammad Sadiq Sheikh, who passed away at Jammu this morning.

The Chief Minister described Sheikh as a hardworking and honest officer who earned the goodwill of his seniors and subordinates equally.

She has also conveyed her sympathies with the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, Minister for Finance, Dr Haseeb Drabu also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Sheikh.

The Finance Minister described Sheikh as a gentleman, a hardworking and dedicated officer who earned the goodwill of his seniors and subordinates equally.

“His demise is a huge loss for not only his family, but the Finance Department as well,” Dr Drabu said.

The Finance Minister conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

SRINAGAR: Chief Secretary, B B Vyas has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of senior KAS officer and Special Secretary, Finance, Muhammad Sadiq Sheikh, who passed away in Jammu this morning.

The Chief Secretary described Sheikh as a gentleman, a hardworking and dedicated officer who earned the goodwill of his seniors and subordinates equally. “His demise is a huge loss for not only his family, but for the whole administrative fraternity,” he said.

The Chief Secretary conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
