Students hold protests against arrests in Pulwama
Scores of students Monday staged a protest outside the police station Pulwama to demand the release of their colleagues.
Reports said that the students of Mehjoor Memorial Higher Secondary school and Degree College Pulwama staged the protest to demand the release of their colleagues detained during last week’s clashes.
According to the eyewitness, students of MMHSS staged a protest inside the institution and warned the administration that they would boycott the classes till the release of their colleagues.
Later, students marched towards Degree College Pulwama and then jointly marched into Pulwama Chowk and staged a protest outside the police station, sources said.
