Aryans organizes workshop, training session for students

Electronics Department of Aryans College of Engineering organized a Technical workshop cum training session for the students of B.Tech Electrical Engg. (EE), Electronics and Communication Engg (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engg (EEE), Civil Engg (CE) and Computer Science & Engg (CSE) students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh. The workshop was conducted by the expert engineers of Novem Controls, Mohali, a statement issued by the group said.

Pushkar Rawat, CEO, Novem Controls while discussing with the students told them about the latest software’s and their applications from industrial point of view.

He provided the students with a hands-on-experience on the software’s like MATLAB, Raspberry Pi, Embedded Systems, AutoCAD 2D/3D and Robotics. “The main aim of the workshop was to make students equipped with practical knowledge of these softwares from industrial point of view” he added.

Priyanka Arora, Electronic Engineer, Novem Control made students familiar with various dimensions of software MATLAB: how it is useful for all engineering branches; its working module and applications.

Using Raspberry Pi, students were provided with live demo of various components of the software, interfacing of motion sensors and installation of Raspberry Pi window. In Embedded Systems, students were made to understand the working of basic electronics and electrical components like relays, contractors, micro-controllers and starts with the help of live projects. 3D Modeling concepts were made clear to students using AutoCAD. 

Rahul, Mechanical Engineer, Novem Control while interacting with the students on robotics provided a step-by-step guide to the key issues around specifying, installing and operating a robot, including how to assess which processes can be automated and how to develop the right solution according to the needs of the Robotics industry.

Ishfaq, Lecturer, Electrical Department while speaking said that the workshop proved to be a beneficial interaction of students with the industry officials in which they were taught about the future scopes of these software’s and how students can exactly lead their way for their future association with industries of their respective fields.

It is to be mentioned that Novem Controls, an ISO Certified company has proved its name in the field of Telecom, paper, Cement, food and Beverages industries for highly reliable and competent products.
