Parents criticize women’s college authorities for denying them entry

Parents who accompanied their wards for the admissions process that was initiated for various courses in Women’s College M A Road here complained that they were not allowed by the authorities to accompany their wards.

A delegation of parents told Kashmir Vision that the college authorities did not allow the parents to accompany their wards inside the campus.

“We were asked that we will not be allowed to go inside till 2 pm. Even after that only few parents were allowed which is sheer injustice,” they alleged.

“We requested them to allow us today because children will need our help and guidance about admissions but they didn’t allow us,” they said.

They have appealed the Principal of the College to look into the matter.

“The admission process will undergo till Saturday and we appeal the authorities to allow us to accompany our children,” one of the parent said. 

Meanwhile, a senior professor of the college Shagufta Yasvi said: “Parents will not be allowed till 2 pm every day.”
