Car accident near Charar-e-Sharief, 2 injured

A driver was injured when a vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge near Hashimlab area of Charar-e-Sharief, on Tuesday.

A Tata Sumo bearing the registration number JK 01T 4528 was on its way from Pakharpora to Charar-e-Sharief when the driver lost control at a curve near Hashimlab area.

The vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge, resulting in the severe injuries to the driver identified as Bilal Ahmad Dar of Alamdar Basti at Charar-e-Sharief.

However, the witnesses said that a single passenger was travelling in the vehicle, who received minor injuries on his foot.

The injured driver, who received severe injuries on his head, was shifted to the sub district hospital at Charar-e-Sharief for treatment.
