The group identifying itself as ‘PHC’ today hacked websites of three central universities—Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), IIT-Delhi and Delhi University (DU). The pro-Kashmir messages were posted on these websites after they were hacked.

The web-pages belonging to the websites of these central universities have been colored black, with messages like “People in Kashmir have the right to live in peace” posted on them.

Interestingly, some of the videos that went viral on social networking sites recently, have also been posted on the hacked websites.

“Greetings Government of India and the people of India. Do you know what your so called hero’s (soldiers) are doing in Kashmir? Do you know they are killing many innocent people in Kashmir?” reads the message.

“Do you know they have raped many girls? Do you know they still are raping girls in Kashmir? How would you feel if your brother, sister, father and mother gets killed? How would you feel if someone rapes your mother or sister? Won’t your life and your families be destroyed? (sic),” it added.

Delhi University’s website that also came under attack was later recovered, but the web-pages of AMU and IIT-Delhi are still carrying the messages.

The websites of most central universities are managed by the state-run National Informatics Centre.
