Pahalgam Development Authority organizes plantation drive
Pahalgam Development Authority (PDA) on Saturday organized a plantation drive in Lidder Valley golf course at Pahalgam.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PDA, Mushtaq Ahmad Senani said that at least 1500 trees of ‘Deodar’ were planted today. “We are going to plant almost 8000 tress of deodar in one week,” he said.
Mushtaq said that on the occasion the importance of plantation and its protection was elaborated besides highlighting the importance of trees in human life.
