Inmates being subjected to torture in jails, police stations: JKLF

Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has strongly condemned the oppression unleashed against Kashmiri inmates in various police stations and jails of the state.

While condemning the prolonged incarceration of dozens of inmates at Kulgam, JKLF said that Ghulam Mohi ud Din Kuchay of Kader and Muhammad Rafiq Dar of Mohanpora along with dozens were put behind bars three months ago and have been languishing at Kulgam police station since then.

Similarly, another youth Zubair Ahmad Tarray, who is in jail from 2014, is being torture at the Shopian police station from last so many months, the statement added.

While condemning the ongoing ‘oppression’, JKLF, said that police and forces have been let loose to harass Kashmiris.
Meanwhile, JKLF paid rich tributes to Muhammad Akbar Wani.
