PDP-BJP combine pushing people to wall, says NC

National Conference (NC) Tuesday expressed grave concern over the use of excessive force against students in Banihal and blamed the PDP-BJP dispensation for plunging the state into crisis like situation with the Valley witnessing chaos all over.

NYC Provincial President Jammu Ajaz Jan condemned the use of brutal force against the students, who were expressing their anguish in a peaceful and democratic manner in Banihal town.

Jan described the present dispensation as a blot on democracy and said that subjecting people to lot of harassment and humiliation during the past two years speaks its hidden agenda. He said due to wrong policies of the government, the people in all the three regions were suffering, not only due to uncertain political atmosphere but also as a result of misgovernance.

He said the people will fight the insensitive dispensation and said that time had come when the irresponsible PDP-BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir needs to be dismissed and Governor’s Rule imposed so that peace and normalcy is restored urgently. “Continuation of this dispensation in office is a huge risk to the time tested unity and tranquility in the state”, he said and urged the people to maintain calm and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood. He said the unity of the people of the three regions will serve as a rebuff to divisive politics of the PDP and the BJP.
