Monga chairs Joint House Committee meeting
A meeting of the Joint House Committee of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council constituted to look into alleged medical negligence of doctors in Government Medical College, Jammu was held under the Chairmanship of MLC, Ghulam Nabi Monga here today.
Legislators, Dr Bashir Ahmad Shah Veeri, Vibod Gupta, Firdous Ahmed Tak, Naresh Kumar Gupta (Special invitee) and Sham Lal Bhagat (Special invitee) were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, a questionnaire drafted on the directions of Chairman of the Committee to get clarification of certain points from expert doctors was issued to all the members of the Committee.
The Secretary Legislative Council was asked to issue a reminder to concerned officials to furnish the reply of the questionnaire within days, so that the report is drafted accordingly.
Among others, Secretary Legislative Council, Abdul Majid Bhat, Special Secretary Legislative Council, Mohammad Ashraf Wani besides other senior officers and officials of Legislative Council were also present in the meeting.
