India, Pak armies lock horns in Rajouri

The armies of India and Pakistan on Monday exchanged heavy fire and shelling along the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu, army sources said.

Pakistani Army initiated indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars at 8 am along the Line of Control (LC) in Nowshera sector, said an army spokesman.

The Indian Army posts are retaliating strongly and effectively, he added.
