The wait for Indian cricket fans to see Virat Kohli back in action could be over soon. The Royal Challengers Bangalore captain posted a video on his Instagram account, which has Kohli lifting weights in the the gym.

The message posted next to it was this, “Can’t wait to get back onto the field. Almost there now??????. 14th April ?,” his post although had a question mark which means that his return is still not 100 percent confirmed.

Kohli injured his shoulder while fielding during the third Test against Australia at Ranchi. He subsequently missed the fourth Test in Dharamsala. Kohli has time and again said that Indian cricket is his primary focus and he would only be back when he is 120 percent fit.

In Kohli’s absence, the RCB has had a stuttering start to their campaign, winning one out of the three matches they have played so far. The Bangalore outfit’s batting has looked very weak, and the team could post a below par 148 on Monday against Kings XI Punjab, despite a scintillating knock by AB de Villiers. The post thus comes as a relief of the RCB dressing roomas well as the fans, who are praying for Kohli’s quick return to action.
