Municipal Polls: Srinagar records 1.5, Baramulla 72.7 per cent till 2 PM

Srinagar: As the polling day approaches to its end on Saturday, the polling percentage in Srinagar has remained somewhat the same, with 1.5 per cent votes polled in Srinagar till 2 PM–a slight jump of .3 per cent; highest being that of Baramulla, where the turnover has been recorded as 72.7 per cent, which was 59.6 per cent at 12 PM.
With Srinagar displaying ‘disinterest,’ there are meagre chances that the polling turnover may even cross the mark of 2 per cent till 4. At 12 in the noon, the percentage for Srinagar was 1.2 which been recorded as 1.5 at 2 PM.
As per figures, district Anantnag is slightly ahead of Srinagar, where the percentage has been recorded as 2.7 per cent. Samba at the same time is ahead with 73.9 per cent voting turnover till 2 PM.
