PDP to hold special meeting on Saturday
Srinagar: In an unprecedented move, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday night directed all its ministers, legislators and senior leaders to be present for a special meeting on Saturday in Srinagar .
PDP Chief Spokesman Rafi Ahmed Mir while confirming the schedule for the meeting said: “A special meeting has been convened to discuss the present situation in the state. Among others issues post darbar move political scenario and accordingly future strategy of the party on the issues will be chalked out.
However, according to sources the special meeting has been convened to discuss the present situation of the Kathua rape and murder case and the role of the party’s alliance, the BJP, in it.( with KNS inputs)
