Shopian hosts impressive Tiranga Exhibition at Zainapora
Shopian: As part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) Shopian, in collaboration with the Cultural Unit, DIPR J&K and Sub-divisional administration Zainapora organised a grand celebrations at Higher Secondary School Zainapora on Monday.
The event featured a vibrant Tiranga Photo and Selfie Exhibition and a series of cultural and patriotic programmes aimed at fostering a deep sense of national pride.
The celebrations commenced with performances by students from NIPS Zainapora and HSS Zainapora followed by thematic cultural presentations by local artists sponsored by Cultural Unit DIPR J&K and DIPR Shopian.
Engaging skits based on the spirit of Har Ghar Tiranga drew loud applause from the audience.
A special photo exhibition and a selfie booths were set up by DIPR, Shopian attracting enthusiastic visitors who captured memorable moments with the Tricolour- a symbol of love, respect, and unity.
Later, a spirited Tiranga Rally was carried out from HSS Zainapora to the SDM Office via the main market, witnessing huge participation from students, officials, and locals, filling the streets with patriotic fervour.
Speaking on the occasion, SDM Zainapora highlighted the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, urging people to proudly hoist the National Flag as a mark of respect and as a pledge towards the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of the country.
He noted that the Tricolour is not merely a piece of cloth but the embodiment of our shared sacrifices, rich heritage, and collective aspirations for a strong and united India.
The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, running from 2nd to 15th August, aims to inspire every citizen to participate wholeheartedly in celebrating the spirit of freedom and nationhood.
