ACB organizes day-long Vigilance Awareness programme

SRINAGAR: Anti corruption Bureau (ACB) in collaboration with Sri Pratap College Thursday organized a day long Vigilance Awareness Programme in the college auditorium on the theme “Say No to Corruption, Commit to the Nation”.

In his inaugural address, Principal of the college, Prof (Dr.) Ghulam Jeelani Qurashi while welcoming all the dignitaries from ACB, laid emphasis on taking initiatives on building nation on the lines of transparency and corruption free management at various levels of the society.

Senior Superintendent Police – ACB (SBG), Zahoor Ahmad shared his views on the role of consciousness as a tool to stop corruption.

Jeelani Dar, Legal Advisor to ACB and Er. Aijaz Masood highlighted the evils of corruption and the remedial measures to curb the menace at the grassroots level.

The event witnessed participation of more than 200 students. The programme concluded with an interactive session comprising a question answer session.
