Police seizes two vehicles involved in illegal mineral extraction
Srinagar: Acting tough against the persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, police have seized two vehicles and arrested two persons in Baramulla, a police spokesman said Thursday.
He said that a police party seized two vehicles (1 Excavator & 1 Tipper) and arrested two persons identified as Mohammad Rafiq Zargar son of Shamim Ahmad resident of Druroo and Danish Ahmad Malik son of Bashir Ahmad Malik resident of Paraswani, involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals at Ferozpora Nallah Shrai Tangmarg.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Tangmarg and further investigation has been initiated, the spokesman added.
