Monumental task for Congress

Sir,
Following its easy victory in Karnataka, the Congress now faces the monumental task of selecting a candidate for the CM’s post. The two obvious candidates are DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah, but there is also the possibility that party President and seasoned politician Mallikarjun Kharge will run.
Even though party observers will compile each newly elected legislator’s personal opinion, the final decision will be made by the high command for sure. Another chance is that Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar to take turns holding the chair for two and half years. If both refuse to agree on the rotating CM proposal, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, who has failed to win the position of Chief Minister at least four times before, could be elected as the CM.
