World Water Day: Institution of Engineers Jammu invites Presentations
JAMMU: The Institution of Engineers (India) Jammu Local Center, Channi Himmat intends to celebrate the World Water Day on 22 March 2023 with the theme-“Accelerating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis.” It would host seminar/paper presentation/Technical activity to disseminate awareness among the masses that there is an urgent need to accelerate change — to go beyond ‘business as usual’ as Billions of people and countless schools, businesses, healthcare centres, farms, and factories are being held back because their human rights to water and sanitation still need to be fulfilled.
“The interested corporate members, colleague Engineers and engineering students are requested to submit the papers along with Powerpoint presentations on [email protected] latest by 18th March, 2023 so that the same are listed for presentation after evaluation by panel,” the organisers said in a communiqué. The presented papers shall be evaluated for awards to be given on Engineers Day on the basis of the criterion: 25% Elocution, 25%PPT and 50 % for the originality of the content of the manuscript.
Powerpoint presentations without the manuscript (not more than 750 words) shall not be taken up for evaluation and presentation thereof.
Engineers from all the government departments/ disciplines senior engineers, corporate members/industrial/ professional organization, engineering students are requested to attend the seminar.
