Police solves burglary case in Budgam, one held
Srinagar: Police in Budgam solved a burglary case by arresting an accused person involved in the crime, a police spokesman said Thursday.
Police received a written complaint from Muhammad Iqbal Parra son of Gulam Nabi Parra resident of Surasyar Chadoora stating there in that during intervening night of 17-18/02/2023, some unknown burglar’s barged into his shop and had stolen Laptop and few Cell Phones, a police spokesman said.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No.18/2023 under relevant sections of law was registered at PS Chadoora and investigation was initiated.
During the course of investigation, after strenuous efforts, the investigating team zeroed in on one suspect identified as Ashiq Ahmad Mir son of Gulam Muhammad resident of Surasyar Chadoora and was accordingly called for questioning, he said.
During questioning, officers learnt about his involvement in the crime. Stolen property including 01 Laptop and 03 cell Phones were also recovered on his disclosure. Further investigation is going on and more recoveries are expected, the spokesman added.
