The Navy Week theme of Indian Navy (IN) – Combat Ready, Credible, Cohesive and Future Proof is carried out in the Navy Week tableau at Republic Day Parade in 2023.
The tableau is amazing and intended to highlight significant indigenously designed and built inductions made as part of mission Aatma Nirbhar Bharat and to demonstrate the Indian Navy’s multifaceted capabilities.
The tableau also seeks to draw attention to “Nari Shakti.” A woman aircrew from a Dornier aircraft is to be shown in the tableau’s foreground, highlighting an all-female crew who flew a surveillance mission last year. The centrepiece of the tableau highlights the Navy’s “Make in India” initiatives. As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Indian Navy hopes to introduce at least 75 new technologies and products.
