KVK Bpr organises Training programme under Natural Farming

BANDIPORA: The Krishi Vighyan Kendra (KVK) Bandipora on Thursday started a two days training programme under Natural farming at KVK Putushay, here.

More than 60 farmers, farm women and rural youth from different villages of the district are participating in the programme.

Dr. Tariq Sultan, Head KVK Bandipora gave a brief account of the training and delivered a powerpoint presentation on the need and importance of natural farming and its beneficial effect on human health.

Scientist (Animal Science) KVK Bandipora Dr. Nazir Ahmad Mir explained core components of natural farming including Beejamrit and Jeevamrut preparation through method demonstration.

Dr. Saba Bukhari (SRF, NICRA) also interacted with participants and highlighted the importance of adoption of natural farming practices.
