Capacity Building program concludes at J&K-IMPARD Sgr
SRINAGAR: A three days Capacity Building programme for Women members of Panchayat Raj Institutions (PRI) of J&K concluded at J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (J&K IMPARD), Srinagar.
The program was held under the programme ‘She is a Change Maker” of the National Commission for Women, New Delhi.
The Capacity Building programme is part of the series joined by elected women members of Panchayat Raj Institutions of all districts of Kashmir Valley including District Development Council Members, Block Development Council Members and Village Panchayat Members.
The series is being fully sponsored by the National Commission for Women to foster Gender Responsive Governance in the system.
The elected members were trained by learned resource persons on different important areas of intervention for the overall empowerment of women.
