AEE, Senior Doctor dies of cardiac arrest
Srinagar: An Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Power Development Department (PDD) and a senior Doctor died of cardiac arrest in Klgam and Rajouri districts, reports said Wednesday.
AEE Mohammad Ayoub of Bon Dailgam area of Anantnag died when he was on way to attend to his duty in Yaripora area of Kulgam district.
Ayoub was posted as AEE at sub division Yaripora in Kulgam district.
“He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead on arrival,” an official said.
Earlier, an Associate professor and Head of Department, Orthopaedics at Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri, Dr. Shalinder Sharma died due to a massive heart attack, officials said.
Dr Mehmood Choudhary, Superintendent GMC Rajouri, said that Dr Sharma had a massive heart attack at his residence and he was brought to GMC during predawn. However, he said, despite best efforts by a team of doctors, Dr Sharma could not be revived and passed away.
