Selection trials for Sub Junior, Junior on Dec 31
Srinagar: The Pencak Silat Association of J&K has scheduled the selection trials for the Sub Junior, Pre-Teen (Boys & Girls) players on December 31 at Indoor Stadium Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu.
The trials will be held to shortlist the divisional athletes to make the final team for the National which will represent the J&K UT in forthcoming Sub Junior and Pre-Teen National Pencak Silat Championship 2022 scheduled at Nanded – Maharashtra from January 13-16 of 2023.
“The selection of the Junior team will also be made during the same time for the 6th edition of Pencak Silat – Federation Cup 2022, which will be held at Goa from 19-21 January 2023,” the handout reads.
All the interested athletes who have already participated in the domestic activities of this year in their respective districts have been asked to report the concerned stadiums at Jammu as well as in Srinagar along with the date of birth certificate, Adhar card and two passport size photographs at the venue.
