ADC Kulgam presides over Peace Education Prog
KULGAM: The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Viqar Ahmed Giri on Thursday presided over a Peace education programme organized by Prem Rawat Foundation in collaboration with the District Administration.
The Professors of Higher Education, lecturers of School Education department, Principals, Zonal Education Officers, District officers besides police officers participated in this programme which commenced on December 28 and will continue till December 31.
It was informed that the Peace education programme is an innovative series of video workshops that helps people discover their own resources and personal peace with focus to develop a “Holistic Perspective About Life”.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC said that such programmes are very important for bringing personal peace and happiness. He also appreciated the organisers of the programme to help people in understanding the merits of peace within life.
