GGW: National Consumer Rights Day observed at Kulgam
KULGAM: The Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) department Kulgam on Saturday organised a day long awareness program to commemorate ‘National Consumer Rights Day’.
On the occasion the Resource Persons highlighted the provisions of Consumer Protection Act and the rights of consumers.
Participants were also made aware of their rights and remedies available to them under the Consumer Protection Law besides sensitizing them about the free legal services being provided to the consumers by District Legal Services Authority.
The programme was attended by AD FCS&CA, representatives from DLSA-K, Officers from Legal Metrology and other departments.
