PRB issues final notice for candidates to produce NCC certificates

JAMMU: The Police Recruitment Board (PRB) has issued a notification for the 107 candidates who have appeared in written examination conducted on October 26 of 2022 for the post of constable in 2 Border Battalions of J&K.

Notably, PRB had given them ample opportunities to produce their original NCC certificates before the PRB.

“Besides all these candidates were contacted through their concerned District Police Offices for production of their original NCC certificates which they failed to do,” the notification reads.

The notification reads that now the PRB in the larger interest of candidates has decided to provide last chance for production of valid NCC certificates.

“All those 107 candidates whose list is uploaded on Jammu and Kashmir Police official website (www.jkpolice.gov.in) are hereby informed to submit their valid NCC certificates till December 23 of 2022,” it reads.

The candidates belonging to District Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Rajouri and Poonch have been asked to submit their valid NCC certificate only in the office of SSP Security office Jammu.

“The candidates belonging to District Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara shall submit their valid NCC certificates in the offices of SSP Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara respectively,” the notice reads.

The notification further reads that no such claim regarding production of NCC certificate shall be considered after the stipulated date.
