Notorious drug peddler arrested in Sopore: Police
Srinagar: The J&K Police have arrested a notorious drug peddler in Sopore and recovered psychotropic substances from his possession, a police spokesman said on Thursday.
The police spokesman said a police party of Police Station Sopore arrested a notorious drug peddler during patrolling.
The Police have identified the accused as Abdul Qayoom Parray @Seeba son of Nazir Ahmad resident of Hygam Sopore.
“During the search, 12 bottles of Codeine (OTODRIL) and 48 Capsules of Spasmoproxyvon Plus were recovered from his possession,” the spokesman said.
He said a case vide FIR No. 266/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Sopore and investigation has been initiated as well.
