Woman drug peddler arrested in Sopore: Police
Srinagar: Police on Monday arrested a lady drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from her possession, a police spokesman said.
He said a police party of Police Station Handwara arrested a lady drug peddler near ITI Gonipora.
“During search, around six grams of Brown Sugar was recovered from her possession,” he said.
The spokesman said the lady was identified as Haseena Begum, wife of Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, resident of Gonipora Handwara.
“A case vide FIR No. 300/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at PS Handwara and investigation has been initiated,” he said.
