Life School celebrates foundation day

Srinagar: The Life School Charari-Sharief, celebrated its foundation day at Zaloosa Charari-Sharief Budgam.

The annual day function was held at Razia hall in the Life School campus graced by many guests from all walks of life.

Ishtiyaq Ahmed Baba, Ahsanul Haq Deputy Director Labour & Provident fund, Nadeem Qadri Senior environmental lawyer, Dr Iqbal Qureshi Deputy Registrar Islamic University, Abdul Hamid Ganaie Principal Boys Higher Secondary School Charari-Sharief, Farooq Ahmed Baba Accountant General (Retd), Javaid Ahmed Dar Senior lecturer and social activist Gulzar Ahmed were present during the day long function.

The students displayed several colourful performances before the audiences.

The day was marked with the laying of foundation stone for “Sheikh ul Alam Centre for Peace and Spirituality.”

The centre is aimed to give further impetus to the holistic and systematic research on Sheikh ul Aalam studies.

Peer Muhammad Amin Baba from Charari-Sharief town laid the foundation stone at the school campus.

“This was always a dream project for us and I am personally touched to see the laying of the foundation stone of this centre,” said Advocate Nadeem Qadri while praising the Director Life Foundation for fulfilling his commitments.

On the occasion, the speakers praised the achievements of the Life School.

“This school is progressing by leaps and bounds and is performing exceptionally well in district Budgam,” one of the speakers said.
