It is a fact that it is never too late to mend. Those who have deviated from the original path, have a lot of opportunities to mend their ways. Never is there an end of opportunities if intentions are clear.

However, it is the trend here that a single mistake is often repeated which leaves a long-lasting effect on the wayward person. We have many instances in front of us where a wayward person mended his ways for the best. He came up with such an attitude that left the spectators awestruck.

This world is created in a fashion that there are cent percent chances of losing the original track. Opposite forces are continuously working against the pious intentions of a person.  They are hell-bent upon to distract a person and throw him into the depths of evil. Both internal and external forces are responsible for it.

But internal forces play a major role in it and cause more damage than the external forces. If a ship is in water, it has no fear of sinking. However, if water is in the ship, there are chances that the ship may sink. So is the case with man. In a human being, there are negative forces working that are waiting for an opportunity to throw him into evil.

Now if a man has done something wrong, he has to try his best to mend his ways as early as possible. The snares of evil must be cut and the original track must be adopted, though it is full of thorns. Evil will persist here till the doomsday. But there are infinite ways to overcome its influence.

Companionship of pious people and worshipping God in the real sense are medicines. The most important thing in this path is that unless a person tries to opt for the original track, no one will come forward and help him to walk the path. It is a man’s determination to get up and fight against the evil.

I think we must learn lessons from the past mistakes and take a vow to remain loyal to God. God is Merciful. He waits for an evildoer to come back and protect himself from the humiliation of the Hereafter.

In my opinion it must be our habit to do good after we have done something wrong.  Let us try to fight against the evil forces and become realized personalities. It is never too late to mend. After all we are human beings.
