AAM deptt to hold exhibitions on eve of World Heritage Week
SRINAGAR: The department of Archives, Archaeology and Museums (AAM) is scheduled to organise two mega exhibitions in Srinagar as part of World Heritage Week celebration from November 19 to 25 of this year.
The Exhibitions will be held at Art Gallery Sher-Garhi Complex Old Assembly Complex, Srinagar on the theme ‘Rare Manuscripts and Archival Heritage’ while another at SPS Museum Lal Mandi Srinagar on the theme ‘Monumental Glory of Kashmir’.
The department has requested all the Heads of the Educational Institutions Government/Private to visit the venues along with their students.
There will be ‘No Entry Fee’ for students as well as the general public by visiting these two special exhibitions, so that the students will get awareness about the Rich cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir.
