Three vehicles seized
Srinagar: Police have arrested three persons and seized three vehicles over illegal extraction and transportation of minerals in Budgam.
The police spokesman said that a police party of Police Station Chadoora during night patrolling at Qaisarmilla Chadoora seized three vehicles (01 JCB Machine, 02 Tippers) and arrested three persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals from government land at Qasermilla.
“The arrested persons have been identified as Towseef Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Hassan Mir resident of Awanpora Chadoora, Manzoor Ahmad Khan son of Abdul Aziz resident of Bugam Batpora and Khursheed Ahmad Thokar son of Gh Nabi Thokar resident of Kakoring Charar-i-sharief,” he said.
He said that a case vide FIR No. 186/2022 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Chadoora and investigation taken up.
