Bpr achieves 91.58% saturation under Ayushman Bharat

BANDIPORA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora Dr. Owais Ahmed on Monday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of Ayushman Bharat in the district.

The meeting was informed that as on date, District Bandipora has saturated 91.58 percent of families with at least one family member covered under Ayushman Bharat scheme.

The progress is significant for the majority of the population as they can avail free treatment up to Rs five lakh in any empaneled Government or private hospital within the country when required.

Furthermore, it was intimated that 2.45 lakh Golden cards have been delivered to the beneficiaries till date in the district and the department in collaboration with District Administration Bandipora has started door to door registration of left out beneficiaries in order to achieve the100 percent saturation of scheme in the district.

The DC directed the concerned stakeholders to achieve the targets at the earliest so that all the families are registered under the scheme and reap benefits of the health scheme.

He also emphasized on the settling of claims uploaded under SEHAT and issued directions to Health authorities to provide early treatment to the public. He stressed upon the completion of exercise within the shortest possible time in the interest of patient care.

The meeting was attended by CMO Bandipora Dr. Bashir Ahmad Khan, DNO Ayushman Bharat Mehraj Wani and other concerned health officers.
