DDC Shopian approves 8 cases during RAC meeting
SHOPIAN: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian Sachin Kumar Vaishya on Friday convened a meeting of Rent Assessment Committee (RAC).
DDC after discussions with heads of concerned departments and owners of the buildings approved eight cases for rent assessment pertaining to different departments.
These included Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Fire and Emergency Services, Handicraft, Agriculture and Sheep Husbandry Department.
The committee approved all eight cases as per the notified schedule of the Government in vogue.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to expedite the payment of rents as per the rates approved in the meeting.
