Two notorious drug peddlers held in Ganderbal: Police
Srinagar: Police have arrested two notorious drug peddlers in Ganderbal and recovered contraband substances from their possession as well, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.
The spokesman said a Police party of Police Station Lar arrested two notorious drug peddlers at a checkpoint established at Tehsilbagh Khranihama.
The arrested persons have been identified as Aqib Nazir Wani son of Nazir Ahmad Wani and Shamim Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Nabi, both residents of Tullamulla Ganderbal.
“During search, 700 grams of Bhung Patri was recovered from their possession,” the spokesman said
He said a case vide FIR No. 64/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Lar and investigation has been initiated.
