Distt Admin Kulgam holds event to observe Vigilance Awareness Week
KULGAM: The district administration Kulgam on Tuesday organised a sensitization programme for the officers and employees in connection with the Vigilance Awareness Week.
The event was organised to highlight the significance of integrity, honesty and transparency.
The week-long celebrations emphasize the promotion of ethics and ethical practices in the domains of organizational, institutional and public life.
ADC/DVO Kulgam Showkat Ahmad Rather in his address said the primary objective of the programme was to encourage all the functionaries to individually and collectively contribute to the prevention of, and fight against corruption, mal-practices and to raise public awareness regarding the existence, causes and consequences of corruption, and unethical conduct.
The programme was attended by District Officers and officials from various offices.
